Jenna M. Kirby, LM, CPM, is a Christian midwife and homeschooling mother of five in Decatur, Texas. She believes birth is part of God’s design and every child is a gift. Her work is to come alongside mothers with personal attention, honest answers, and skilled midwifery care.
A midwife who knows family life
Pregnancy happens in the middle of everyday life: children to teach, meals to make, work to do, and a family preparing to grow. Jenna understands that rhythm. Home visits give you space to talk about your baby and the practical things on your mind.
Jenna is warm and direct. She wants you to ask questions, understand your choices, and be at ease talking with the woman who will be beside you at birth.
Why the name Exodus
In Exodus 1:15–21, Pharaoh commanded the midwives Shiphrah and Puah to kill the Hebrew boys at birth. They feared God and refused the ruler’s command, preserving the babies’ lives. Scripture says God dealt well with the midwives and, because they feared Him, gave them families of their own. Their faithfulness to the Lord and His blessing on their households are at the heart of the name Exodus Midwifery.
Jenna’s Christian faith is part of who she is and how she serves. She sees motherhood and the work of birth as gifts from God, and caring for a mother and child as a responsibility to carry with humility, courage, and love.
