Steady attention
Checking your wellbeing, your baby’s heartbeat, and how labor is progressing.
Faith in God. Personal care for you.
Welcoming a baby is a gift from God. Jenna comes alongside you with personal care through pregnancy, birth, and the first six weeks with your baby. Together, you prepare for birth in the comfort of your own home.
Home visits give you time to get to know Jenna, talk through your questions, and prepare for the baby growing within you. She gets to know your family and the place where you hope to give birth.
Visits are every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, every 2 weeks from 28 to 36 weeks, and weekly from 36 weeks until birth. Additional visits depend on what you and your baby need.
Jenna checks your health and your baby’s growth and position, arranges routine labs, and talks with you about nourishment, rest, and birth. She explains tests and choices so you understand your care.
Jenna and the birth team join you in established labor, following the arrangements you discuss together. They keep watch over you and your baby while helping you find comfort, move freely, and settle into the work of birth.
Her Christian faith shapes the way she serves: with respect for God’s design for birth, attentiveness to your needs, and gratitude for the life you are welcoming.

After birth, Jenna checks you and your baby, helps with early breastfeeding, and stays through the immediate recovery period. You have time to rest, meet your little one, and ask questions.
Scheduled postpartum care continues through six weeks, with attention to your recovery, your baby’s wellbeing, and breastfeeding. Jenna explains newborn care choices and helps you connect with another provider when needed.
Exodus is for families who want personal home-birth care with an openly Christian midwife. Jenna believes birth is part of God’s design and approaches it with confidence, care, and respect. You should feel comfortable with her convictions, her direct answers, and taking an active part in your care.
Home birth is for low-risk pregnancies. Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, Jenna will talk through your health history and current pregnancy with you. She continues checking on you and your baby throughout care.
Jenna does not attend planned home births for twins. Birth after Cesarean is discussed individually and requires prior operative records.
Jenna talks about safety with you one on one, with the conversation tailored to your health, your baby, and your specific needs. Bring your questions to your visits or the first call.
